What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a funnel for marketing and why should every online marketer create one?

It is a marketing strategy that is designed to draw potential customers to your site. It's a selling process that allows someone to browse your website in search of information that solves their problem. It is possible to build a rapport by using specific tools.

This will allow you to better understand each visitor's needs. This will allow you to provide the most accurate information possible to every customer. When you have gained the trust of a potential customer, that visitor will feel more comfortable purchasing products. The visitor then becomes a customer.

In time the majority of customers become very loyal customers who are willing to buy any product that your website promotes. A marketing funnel consists of all the steps needed to convert a regular user of your site to become a loyal client and buy every product that you sell.

For any internet marketer, this is the final objective. A properly created funnel can achieve this very easily.

You have your marketing resources catching people's attention and drawing them into the funnel. When they fill out the form that you have on your PERSONAL Lead Capture Page, they are able to enter your funnel. Because no one will sign up to your lead capture page, I used the word "personal". They are looking for a leader to join them, not a small business.

The lead capture page is where they begin the funnel. When they click the "Sign up Now" or the "Enter here" buttons, they will be in a position to enter a different world of network marketing.

The best thing is that they're competent to perform the task. It is their decision. You've not offered anything other than that you are a leader, mentor and someone who will help them increase leads and also more cash in their businesses.

This is the way a typical marketing funnel functions:

The "front-end" The "front-end" is where you make a promotional offer that can draw and attract prospective customers who may be interested in purchasing your products further in the sales funnel. You must sign up to receive the free product.

You now have these people on your email and you can offer them similar promotions that may be of interest to them.

Right after sign-up to receive the free offer, you'll be directed to a webpage that has a low-cost offer, also called trip wire offers. This is where they'll be moving to your "backend" of funnel.

If they buy the low priced offer then they'll be taken to a different offer with a higher cost (normally called an upsell). A person who also purchases the lower priced offer will be taken to the next comparable product at a higher rate. This could go on for a long period of time.
