Arizona Sports betting is well on its way to kicking off in time for the NFL season.
The Arizona Department of Gaming announced a planned start date of September 9th to go live sports betting in Arizona. The date coincides with the official kickoff of 2021 NFL Season.
In addition, the industry’s “public inspection and comment” rules announced by the ministry will be available 14th June. Retail and AZ mobile sports betting are included for both tribal casinos and the state’s professional sports organizations.
Arizona stays on course
The start date, which coincides with the massive NFL betting exchange, was a stated goal of Arizona lawmakers. Legislation went through both chambers with an emergency clause to speed up the process of developing rules and regulations.

There are 20th Licenses in Arizona, including 10 each for tribal casinos and the state’s professional sports organizations. Tribes can operate multiple retail sports betting under the same license if they own multiple casinos.
Legislators also legalized everyday fantasy sports. Arizona was one of the last states without DFS rules.
Arizona could generate more than $ 154 million in the annual taxable sports betting revenue as soon as the market is mature, according to a tax bill. The growing state is likely to attract a lot of attention from sports betting providers.
Sports betting partners emerge
